With the revolutionary new Fraxel re:pair® laser treatment, you can get smoother, tighter skin, reduced wrinkles and fine lines, improved tone & texture and softening of deep frown lines. All in a single treatment. It's the new way to correct aged and damaged skin without the prolonged downtime or adverse reactions of other resurfacing procedures. It is the first and only system of its kind that has FDA clearance for wrinkles, fine lines, irregular texture, sun and age spots, and sun-induced redness.
With Fraxel re:pair® treatment, you get dramatic results without going under the knife. Instead, Fraxel re:pair® laser treatment uses points of light to precisely treat thousands of microscopic areas of your skin. The treatment penetrates deep into the skin to remove old, damaged skin cells, stimulates your body's own natural healing process, and replaces the cells with fresh, glowing, healthy skin. Because the technology is so precise, Fraxel re:pair® treatment works not only on the face, but also on delicate skin areas like the neck, chest and hands. Fraxel re:pair® is a trademark of Solta Medical, Inc.
(The range of Fraxel treatments vary in aggressiveness, downtime, number of procedures needed and results. The most aggressive treatment, Fraxel re:pair®, can produce dramatic improvement for severely damaged skin. This is a single treatment procedure, but will require more downtime and after treatment wound care. Results appear following the treatment, and progressively over the next six months.)

FAQs of the Fraxel re:pair® treatment
This is a safe and natural way to evenly exfoliate the skin. This treatment decreases the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and age/sun spots. It improves acne and acne-related scarring and leaves the appearance of a more even skin tone and texture. You can immediately return to daily activities.
Through the application of this exclusive formula from SkinMedica® the outermost, old layer of the epidermis will be removed and the underlying new skin will be rejuvenated. We recommend this for photo-damaged skin with fine lines, wrinkles and pigment irregularities. It can also improve scarring, melasma and superficial acne. You may experience 3-7 days of mild exfoliation and redness.
For complicated forms of acne, manual extraction is often the only way to extrude the follicular plug and clean out the pores. During this procedure the skin is exfoliated and steamed prior to the extraction. This modality effectively removes and cleanses blemishes, blackheads and milia. It is often combined with oral and topical medical therapies. There may be a few days of mild redness at lesion locations.
The Laser Genesis procedure has been scientifically proven to produce new collagen. It can change the complexion to a creamy, more youthful appearance and diminish minor imperfections. It is recommended for fine lines, uneven texture, large pore size, deeper redness, poikiloderma and superficial scars. The individual treatments are subtle, but the overall effect of multiple treatments can be quite dramatic by creating new collagen thereby giving your face, neck, décolletage and hands a more youthful appearance. This treatment modality is safe for any skin type and has no down time.
LimeLight facial is a pulsed light system that is exceptionally effective for treating diffuse redness, mottled complexion, freckles, brown spots, tiny veins and sun damage with minimal discomfort. It addresses problems at the skin’s surface. We recommend 3-6 sessions to obtain maximal benefit. The IPL can also rejuvenate the effects of aging and photodamage on the hands, neck and décolletage. You can expect mild redness and swelling for a few hours after treatment with darkening of the brown spots before you see improvement.
This sophisticated version of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy expedites results by applying a Levulan Kerastick topical solution to the skin surface 30-60 minutes before photodynamic activation with the IPL light source. This is an excellent treatment for precancerous actinic keratosis to prevent its progression to skin cancer.
It is also the popular “photodynamic photorejuvenation” technique which can decrease the number of required sessions for a predictably dramatic improvement in the aging and sun damaged patient. The skin will often turn red and have minor swelling. Peeling and redness for 5-10 days is expected. However, the final result is well worth the minimal downtime.
This is the latest technology using pulsed light for permanent hair reduction to treat large areas safely and effectively on patients with a wide range of skin types. The cooled hand-piece increases patient comfort and minimizes the adverse skin reaction commonly seen with other light sources. ProWave can remove hair from all parts of the body including sensitive areas. Most areas require 4-8 treatments due to the action of the ProWave disabling the hair in the active growth phase. Topical anesthetics can be used in sensitive areas when required.
The CoolGlide laser is a Nd-Yag laser with contact cooling. It can safely cause the veins to coagulate and eventually reabsorb without scar. You may notice slight redness and local swelling of the skin. It generally requires 1-2 sessions for best results.
This is a physician-injected sclerosant which renders targeted veins less visible via coagulation of the unsightly veins of the legs. You can resume daily activities immediately while wearing support hose to allow the veins to coagulate, reabsorb and disappear. Most patients require 2 or more sessions for optimal results. The treated veins can leave hemosiderin (brown pigment) for 4-8 weeks.
- Temporary and semipermanent fillers
- Lip augmentation—reduces fine lines around the mouth and creates fuller plumper lips
- Restylane® (non-animal based hyaluronic acid) cosmetic dermal filler injection
- This natural cosmetic filler replaces the age-related loss of skin support structure in areas needing fullness. Lip augmentation can create a customized subtle to dramatic change in this sensitive cosmetic unit. The treated areas can have short-term swelling and rare bruising at the injection site. Local anesthesia is offered for less discomfort.
This soft tissue augmentation material fills and volumizes while stimulating the skin to produce new collagen. It is recommended for moderate to deep facial folds and wrinkles, such as nasolabial fold. It can also be used for volume replacement in areas of the face which show atrophy with age. Results may last one year or longer.
The 585-595 nm pulse dye laser with cryogenic cooling can eliminate facial telangiectasia with 1-2 sessions. You can expect redness and bruising after treatment.
This injection therapy is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines (expression lines) between the eyebrows. It can also be used for Crow’s feet, horizontal forehead lines and the subtle lift of the angles of the mouth and lateral brow. Best results require maintenance therapy at 3 month intervals. Doses vary by the muscle volume and patients response. We always recommend a touch-up at 2 weeks if you are not completely satisfied. Patients will note mild injection site redness for a few hours and rare injection site bruising. The Botox requires one week to show maximum results.
